Booking your wedding photographer and your videographer is an important step and it's important to get right. We really care that if you choose us we will be a perfect fit for your wedding.

Below are some of our most commonly asked questions, if you have a question that is not answered here please do not hesitate to get in contact, we are always happy to help.

We love your style how do we book?

Its super simple! Just call us on 01394 766643 and we can have a chat about your wedding day, and find out a little more about what you need and we can pop over our booking details. You can also email us at hello@bushfirephotography.co.uk with both your names, wedding date, venue and the package you would like to book. All that is then needed to confirm your booking is a £250 deposit that comes of your final balance.

Do we get a pre-wedding planning meeting?

Absolutely! It is so important to be organised for your wedding day. We typically have a meeting, normally over zoom, around four weeks before your wedding. At this point we can go over the timings and locations of your wedding day. The family shots you would like and any other details that are important to you.

What time on the wedding day do you start?

We like to allow plenty of time to photograph your all-important wedding preparations. With this in mind two hours before your ceremony is typical, if you have to drive from your getting ready location to the ceremony we will factor this in and start as early as we need.

How does the coverage work with two photographers??

The best bit about two photographers is that your coverage is not rushed and we are in a better position to capture your day as creatively and naturally as possible. We really can be in two places at once. Two photographers come as standard in all our packages as we believe this is the best possible coverage you can receive.

You will have two photographers covering both bride and groom prep, the ceremony, drinks reception, group shots and couple portraits. One of our photographers will stay on into the evening capturing speeches, evening portraits, cutting the cake first dance and leave just after first dance dance with many 'party' images after your guests bust some moves on the dancefloor!

Do we need to feed you?

That's totally up to you. We are mindful that some venues can charge a lot of money to cater to suppliers, and some do not charge at all. We are always appreciative of being looked after but understand this is not always possible. All we ask if you let us know in advance so we are prepared.

How long until we can see our wedding pictures / film?

Our aim is that you never have to wait more than four weeks, but often we will have them ready earlier. Some times of year we are busier and even though we are busy you can be assured that we will devote the same care and attention to your wedding images, it is, for this reason, the time will fluctuate between 2 to 4 weeks.

Video takes a little longer as the edit takes much longer so with video you will receive your film within 12 weeks, although if you really want it sooner we do have an express edit service, subject to availability.

How do we receive our digital images?

We now have brand new intelligent online galleries. They enable our couples to download their hi-res images straight away, to any device! As many people solely use their tablets and smartphones USB's have gone the way of the CD Rom.

The online gallery is so much better, you can cast it to a smart tv to watch the stunning slideshow we put together. You can download the whole gallery in one go so you can make your own backup - plus you have the choice to download individual images to your phone so to avoid filling up your phone's memory with all your wedding images.

Do you shoot video?

Yes we do! And what is even better if you book us to photograph your wedding you will save £500 off any video package!!!

Can I book both photography & videography

Yes absolutely! We are one of the few suppliers that can do both at the same time. You can book us for photography only, videography only or both together.

When you book both you will have two photographers and one videographer ( you have the option to add a 2nd videographer if you wish )

How do I watch my wedding video?

You can now watch your wedding films on any device. Using the industry-leading video delivery platform VidFlow you can watch and share your films on your home smart TV, your phone, tablet and PC.

Your wedding film can be viewed through the VidFlow app via your own secure personal code. The Vidflow app is widely supported on Apple TV, Android Tv, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Sony, Samsung, and many many more.

Using your own secure link you will be able to download your own HD wedding film to use offline as well.

What if I hate having my picture taken?

Dont worry, you are not alone. Do you know that nearly everyone says that to us! We try to work as naturally as possible meaning that most of your pictures will be natural and unposed ones.

Also keep in mind that we are there not only to take photographs of you but of your guests and family to. We want you to enjoy your wedding day, and we are very mindful that it is not a photoshoot but the most important day of your life, we want you to enjoy it.
